Our Story
Daisy Rue began with a simple frustration: too much of what we owned was made to be replaced. We set out to make the opposite.
Quietly considered clothing, made to be lived in — cut from natural fibres, finished by hand, and meant to outlast the season.

Made to be
lived in
We work from a small atelier in the first arrondissement, a short walk from where the first pieces were cut in 2019. The collection is deliberately narrow — a shirt, a trouser, a jacket, a few knits — refined season after season rather than replaced.
Every fabric is a natural fibre: long-staple cottons, tropical and brushed wools, extra-fine merino, vegetable-tanned leather. We choose mills in Italy and Japan who have been weaving the same cloths for generations, and we finish by hand wherever the hand still does it best — felled seams, rolled edges, corozo and horn buttons.
Nothing here is designed to be thrown away. When a garment wears, we would rather mend it than sell you another. Care and repairs are part of the house — write to us and we will look after what you own.
Natural fibres, only
Cotton, wool, merino, silk, leather. Breathable, long-lasting, and kinder to wash and to wear. No synthetics in the main cloth.
Finished by hand
Single-needle seams, hand-rolled scarves, Blake-stitched soles. The details you feel before you notice them.
Kept, not discarded
Sized to layer and cut to last. Complimentary repairs on everything we make, for as long as you wear it.
